During a regular weekend headlining at his home club, stand up comedian Ellis Rodriguez receives a chance to audition for a spot on the coveted New Faces Showcase of the world famous Just For Laughs comedy festival. He and his good friend, fellow comedian Luke Soin, venture into the Sierra Foothills to audition for this festival. Along the way they will face drunken hecklers, crazy drug dealers, and worst of all… CANCELLATION.
